Plumlife, who is part of Great Places Housing Group, has been appointed by the Homes and Communities Agency, the government body that funds affordable new homes to be its Homebuy Agents for Greater Manchester, Lancashire, andSouth Yorkshire.
A Homebuy Agent is a one stop shop, allowing you to apply for a whole host of schemes and developments regardless of the supplier by completing just one application form. Plumlife will then notify all the Housing Associations within the area(s) you have chosen, that you are looking for a property. The Homebuy form is downloadable from the website link below.

What is JobMoves?
JobMoves is an exciting new government funded initiative helping social tenants in the North of England (North East, Yorkshire & Humber and the North West) designed to remove the obstacles that social tenants might face in taking up the best job available to them. It is a 12 month pilot to provide an advice and support service which liaises between social tenants, potential landlords and mutual exchange schemes in the North to try and secure a housing move for employment reasons.
Who can use the JobMoves scheme?
If you are a Social tenant enduring an excessive commute and have a job offer or apprenticeship placement which is too far to travel from home, you can access the JobMoves service for personalised advice on re-housing options and advocacy and assistance in seeking a new home closer to work.
