From Thursday the 01 August 2019 the length of time a property is advertised and available to bid on will be reducing by 1 day. Properties will still be advertised from 00:01 on a Thursday but the advertising cycle will now end at 23:59 on Sunday rather than at 23:59 on Monday.
You will need to make sure that from the first of August you place any bids in your usual way before the new cycle end time of 23:59pm on Sunday. You will be able to find out your final bidding position by logging into your account each Monday.
We’re making this small change because 71% of people put their bids in on a Thursday with only 6% of our customers placing bids on the Monday. This change will free up HomeChoice officers to concentrate on the shortlisting process, make offers of accommodation, arrange property viewings and help people into properties. People bidding will be contacted more quickly to let them know whether they have been successful.
